Off to St Tropez?

One more blog on holiday styling and this time we are off to St Tropez. Sadly I have never been there but that’s not to say I can’t imagine what I would wear should the occasion arise! I am writing this having enjoyed lots of sunshine on a mini break in Porto this weekend and have now got the feeling for summer dressing and want rid of all the layers.

The kaftan featured below has had lots of attention in the shop. It is such a good price point and easy for the the majority of people to wear. I would definitely wear it with the headband too as it makes it look a bit more interesting and as you are doubtless aware headbands are all the rage this summer. The print is perfect for seaside dressing and its also super lightweight so no need to worry about overheating. Here’s an image of our model Daisy in it to give you more of an idea.

And the headband in close up. By the way both the kaftan dress and the headband are cotton so both machine washable which is such a bonus for holiday clothing.

The bracelet featured is by a Parisian brand called Nahua. I am mad for their hand woven cuffs and have just purchased my second one as I find them so easy to wear and love the way they make my outfits a bit more interesting. I also think they make unusual presents that are perfect for summer gifting. They come in an array of colours and I’ll show you another one here so you get the idea.

The Indian summer sandals by Sole Sisters are a real winner. We used to live in Dubai and I wore sandals like this all the time in either gold or silver. I was so happy to discover you can now get them in colours and went a bit crazy buying them in four different colour ways. They are so comfortable and easy to wear and look great with everything from cut off jeans to shorts and maxi dresses. The only problem is deciding which colour you are going to get!

Finally the silver metallic wallet. I bought this wallet in silver and gold as I think it’s so nice to have a wallet that’s more suited to your summer wardrobe and that adds a bit of sparkle to your look. This one is by Italian brand Marlon Firenze and I hope you are pleasantly surprised by the price. If you click on the link you can see the gorgeous snakeskin bags that are from the same designer and work really well with the wallets.

I’ve been very spoilt recently as we went on a family skiing holiday and then I had a three day girls trip with two of my greatest friends. That’s it for me now on the holiday front until we go to Devon in the summer so I will have to live my life vicariously by chatting to all the people coming into the shop to buy their summer holiday clothes.

Talking of the shop watch out for my next blog post and newsletter as I am writing a feature on Stockbridge and my favourite shops and restaurants. Its definitely worth a trip!
