LUXE ATHLEISURE WEAR

On days when denim feels too structured, reach for a pair of this season’s athleisure pants. Stylish, comfortable and casually cut, these can be dressed down with trainers – or elevated with kitten heels.

KHAKI CHIC

Looking for a smart-casual trouser? Consider a pair of cotton/linen cargos. The relaxed cut and flattering high waist are a stylish choice, especially when teamed with a crisp white shirt and fresh new kicks.

A RIOT OF RED

Red pants are trending, but how do you style them? Having just purchased these crimson jeans for myself – which BTW I’ve been wearing on repeat – I’d recommend wearing them with white, blue or navy. White allows the red to breath, whilst the blue and navy add composure and polish.

BARREL LOAD OF STYLE

Whilst their exaggerated shape may seem daunting, the ‘barrel-leg’ jean is actually very flattering. The curved outer seam gives just the right amount of slouch at the mid-thigh – and the high waist and tapered ankle balance beautifully to enhance the figure. Not convinced? Give them a try!

SKIRTING THE ISSUE

This season’s trend for denim skirts presents a compelling alternative to wearing jeans, by giving us familiarity and function but with a novelty feel. Fabulously versatile, a denim skirt will team effortlessly with everything. A simple switch of footwear – from boots to ballerinas – makes it a wardrobe perennial too.

CRIMSON CHIC

Red is trending but if a solid pop of colour is daunting, dial down the vibrancy by styling with neutrals. If you’re still not convinced, consider shoes or bags that introduce a less imposing pop of crimson.

PARISIAN CHIC

Elevate any look by emulating chic Chanel style – a cinch if you’ve a cropped, classic-cut jacket with gold embossed buttons to hand. Such an iconic staple and wonderfully versatile too, teaming as well with denim as it does with tailoring.
