After a long search to replace my much loved but expensive Citizens of Humanity jeans, I came across FIVE JEANS, a French brand that ticked all the boxes – a flattering fit, high quality denim, great shapes and a good price too. Having stocked them last season, when they sold incredibly well, I’ve purchased 3 new styles for spring – a boyfriend, a flare and a tapered, slim fit.

BLUE TARA JEANS £115.00
The Tara jeans are a classic, boyfriend style perfect for everyday wear. The mid rise waist band is decorated with an Aztec design and the legs are gently tapered, have a turn up at the hem and finish at a three quarter length. Team with trainers or loafers and a boxy shaped jumper or t-shirt.
STYLE TIP: A waistband this wonderful needs to be seen, but if you’re not keen on tucking your entire top in, just tuck in a small front portion (as is the current trend) so that the zig-zag detailing is still visible.
These elegant, slim fit jeans will be the most versatile piece in your new spring wardrobe. The fit is extremely flattering and the gently frayed hem gives them a lovely, laidback vibe. The cotton is beautifully soft and the inclusion of elastane means they keep their shape well. Wear with the woven belt supplied or no belt at all!
STYLE TIP: These slim fit jeans will balance well with the season’s more voluminous style blouses, with their decorative frills and fuller sleeves.

STYLE TIP: The off-white denim looks great worn with a crisp white cotton shirt or blouse and fresh white trainers.
BLUE LUCIA JEANS £112.00
Wider leg jeans are going to be a popular trend this spring so this flared pair will really hit the spot in the style stakes. They have a high waist band with fashionable patch pockets on the front and although designed to be worn full length, they can very easily be shortened for those who prefer a crop finish. The cotton is beautifully soft and lightweight.
STYLE TIP: The wider legs are the perfect compliment to a slim fit t-shirt or shirt. Going forward, the flare will look great with a wedge summer sandal too.
