Twillys

Anyone who follows Cleverly Wrapped on Instagram will see that I am very overexcited about Twillys this season. “What’s a Twilly?”, I hear you say! A Twilly is a long and thin scarf that is often made out of silk and can be worn in multiple ways in a rather Kate Moss/Pete Doherty sort of way.

I went to a 50th birthday party the other night and wore a teal and black lace one from the current collection with a cream silk shirt. So easy if you are stuck on transitional dressing and want one small thing to jazz up a neutral outfit. Here I am with my friend Emily about to step out on the town.

In this Autumn Winter collection we have three different Twillys all by the same designer Bella Ballou.

Here they are below shot in a number of ways to give you an idea of the many styling options.

I think these Twillys make a great gift as they retail at £48 and that includes our luxurious gift wrapping. They also make a wonderful wardrobe refresh for yourself if you want to update your look. You can find them under Silk Scarves on the website if you want to see more images and product details.

By the way Twillys seems to be a term invented by the scarf industry and not by me! Presumably as most of these type of scarves are made from silk twill!

Happy browsing!
