White Denim All Year Round

According to fashion writer Alysson Walsh, in her Telegraph article ‘Scared of Wearing White Jeans?’ pale denim looks good all year round – and I couldn’t agree more.

To debunk the myth that white jeans should only be worn in warm weather, both Alysson and I advise teaming them with neutrals, as we transition from winter into spring.

Style with a trench coat, navy knit and Breton stripe and you really can’t go wrong, as demonstrated by the timeless elegance of Lauren Hutton (above).

Scroll down for some late winter/early spring style inspiration, featuring our White Luna Jeans and Vika Slit Denim Skirt.

LOOK 1

This chic, scallop-edge knit has a stylish silhouette that works well with our high-waisted white jeans. Wear open, like a jacket and reveal a pretty white blouse, cami or vest beneath.

We’re getting Chanel-style boucle jacket vibes. Are you?!

LOOK 2

What could be more stylish than a cashmere camel v-neck and white denim – an effortless partnership that really does transcend the trends.

A long-sleeve knit looks great tied around the waist or shoulders too.

LOOK 3

White denim and Breton stripes never go out of fashion and this slightly chunky cable knit cardigan is a great transitional piece you’ll wear on repeat.

This knit really pops with all shades of denim.

LOOK 4

A mix of white and blue denim exudes relaxed, off-duty vibes. Be it a soft chambray blouse or a structured denim jacket, this combination guarantees fail-safe styling.

A light black knit or cami gives the outfit depth and substance.

LOOK 5

We love a shacket and this one, from Danish brand Moss Copenhagen, will transition seamlessly through the seasons.

The white top-stitching makes it even more perfect for a white denim partnership.

LOOK 6

Elevate white denim with a navy knit for a look that delivers Parisian chic. Add some texture with a striped shirt and decorative earrings.

Vertical stripes are very flattering as they create the illusion of a streamlined torso!
