I am sure that many of you will have heard of the Spirit of Christmas fair, but maybe less so the Spirit of Summer fair.
It is a four day long shopping event at Olympia London, from Wed 17th June until Sat 20th June from 10am till 6pm every day. The event is held in association with House and Garden and is a mix of lifestyle, homewares, fashion and accessory brands.
As well as being a feast of summer shopping there are also lots of talks on topics as diverse as good skincare, champagne tasting and women’s wellbeing.
This will be the very first consumer fair that Cleverly Wrapped has exhibited at and as expected, there is plenty of preparation going on behind the scenes. We have been busy planning the presentation of the stand, drawing mock ups stall plans (top right image) and deciding how best to make us of our ‘plot’. We have lots of images currently at the printers being made into foam boards and have just purchased a lovely white table on which to do the wrapping, not to mention 2kgs of jelly beans in case anyone is a bit peckish! I am hoping that the stand is going to be an explosion of summer colours and plan to bring all of our wonderfully summery scarves, ponchos and wraps with us.
I have also just purchased a scarf to be sold exclusively at Spirit of Summer as I believe it is a must-have summer essential. It is a large cotton/cashmere blend pink/coral scarf that has a fab contrast colour-block on one end (bottom left image). It would make the perfect travel companion for plane journeys and is of course perfectly suited for beautiful, cool summer evenings.

I will have myself plus two others working on the stand every day and we will all be happy to help with styling tips, colour choices and gift ideas. We will of course be able to gift wrap any purchases in our bespoke CW boxes and ribbons. We have just had a batch of brand new, gorgeous CW gift bags designed especially for your Spirit of Summer purchases (bottom right image), & I have to say I think they look fab (maybe I’m a bit biased though!).
