The Striped Long Tunic Vest by Danish brand Coster Copenhagen is a chunky knitted tunic in a wide black and cream stripe. Designed to be worn as a tunic over leggings or trousers it will layer effortlessly over a long sleeved top.

The Striped Long KnitTunic has short sleeves, a raised neckline and a split hem with blanket stitching up the sides. It is made from 60% seawool, which is a fibre made from recycled plastic bottles and oyster shells, that when blended with cotton, creates a super soft fabric that has an antistatic effect and does not pill.

The Striped Long Knit Tunic looks fabulous over our black jeans with trainers or chunky boots. It’s versatility means there are several different ways to wear this vest; an ideal layering piece for transitional dressing while the British temperatures are still unpredictable!

Fabric: 60% cotton, 40% seawool. Seawool is a brand-new type of sustainable material. Seawool consists of a mix of recycled plastic bottles and surplus oyster shells from the food industry. Seawool has a 99% comparability to wool – it is also heat-regulating, self-cleansing and has a soft feel without being scratchy. Other than that, it is also anti-bacterial and anti-static.
1 kg of Seawool recycles approximately 60 plastic bottles.

Coster Copenhagen was founded in 2012 by designer Pia Coster, who has had more than twenty years of successful experience in the fashion industry. Today she runs the ladies clothing brand together with her husband Chris Coster.

Coster Copenhagen have released a programme called ‘Coster Cares’ which focuses on the brands sustainability goals. It focuses on the impact that the fashion industry has on climate change, and what consumers can do to help change that. As a brand, they have committed to be transparent in all their decisions, in an effort not to greenwash or greenhush. They have decided to work on four of the UN Sustainable Development Goals which are responsible consumption and production, climate action, life on land and partnerships for the goals in a bid to help guide them to make more environmentally conscious decisions. They have recently started to use responsible and nature friendly materials such as seawool, recycled polyester and ecovero lenzing viscose as well as organic cotton and linen and some of their suppliers are listed with the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).

Coster Copenhagen designs clothes for women who want to feel comfortable and well-dressed. The clean organic lines and the bright colours of the cool Nordic style are reflected in the collections from this Danish brand and together they form an inspiring unity.

All of our orders are dispatched within 24 hours on working days. You will receive an email once we have processed your order.

Orders will arrive wrapped in tissue. However if you would like them professionally gift wrapped (at no extra charge) please just tick the box at check out for FREE gift wrapping. Your order will then arrive beautifully wrapped in tissue placed in a charcoal grey box which is tied with our bespoke grosgrain ribbon. All prices will be removed.

If you would like to leave the recipient a message on our smart black and white CW postcards please leave it in the comments box at check out.

If you are ordering more than one scarf you will only be charged delivery once. Where there are several different gift wrapped items in one delivery we will mark each item with a description so you can identify which is which.

Please note that all of our gift wrapping boxes are made from 100% recycled materials that can all be recycled within the UK. We do not put our logo on our boxes so you can use them again for other gift wrapping or as storage boxes.

UK STANDARD DELIVERY £4.95

This is for orders under £150 where we do not do free postage. This delivery is provided by the Royal Mail. If you or the recipient are not in to receive the package you will be left a calling card by the Royal Mail.

These deliveries often arrive the next day but sometimes the day after.

UK GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY £7.00

If you need to know that your parcel will arrive the next day before 13.00pm then choose this option (Monday to Friday only before 3pm) and we will use the Royal Mail’s guaranteed next day delivery service.

EUROPEAN DELIVERY £9.00

We offer a delivery service to any address in Europe which costs £9 per order and can take up to a week to arrive. This price does not include any import duties or local taxes for which the recipient is responsible.

The parcel will be tracked and require a signature at the other end.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY £12.00

We also ship parcels to most addresses outside Europe, which costs £12 per order and can take up to 10 days to arrive. This price does not include any import duties or local taxes, for which the recipient is responsible.
